Donate Life Louisiana, an organ donor foundation with goals to increase the National Organ Donor Registry, wants to inform Office of Motor Vehicle (OMV) employees about their mission. How can Donate Life not only inform but excite and engage OMV employees and encourage them to spread the word about the Registry when talking to customers?

The Solution

Monthly flyers that focus on a specific organ-donation-related topic through noteworthy fun facts, and joyful success stories would bring Donate Life’s mission to life! These digestible and memorable nuggets of information ideally stick in the minds of employees throughout their day as they discuss organ donation with License registration customers. Simple symbols representing hearts, organs, and licenses, bright colors that attract the eye, and photos of organ donors and recipients also emphasize the value and impact of encouraging organ donor registration to OMV goers.

Inspiration & Ideation

The Insight

With Donate Life’s logo as inspiration, the flyers’ style guide emerged, incorporating the brand’s colors and introducing playful fonts ideal for educational materials. Precedent analysis determined that these flyers should have a free-flowing layout, sections designated by colored background shapes, and simplistic icons to denote the flyer’s topic.
